Asbestos Containing Materials
Envirotech’s services include: asbestos, lead, PCBs, lead paint, liquid
hazardous wastes, biological contamination, and many other contaminants.
Envirotech provides decontamination and abatement services to remove
contaminants from buildings, vessels, process equipment, vehicles, soil,
groundwater, and other media. Over time, Envirotech has developed
distinctive expertise in removing these materials from many types of
operating and non-operating facilities including hospitals, office towers,
refineries, power plants and manufacturing facilities.
Our procedures for asbestos work are closely modeled after the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency's (USEPA's) Asbestos Hazard Emergency
Response Act (AHERA) criteria. AHERA is considered by many as the
"State of the Practice" in the asbestos industry. We also follow National
Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) guidelines on site.
Many of Envirotech’s abatement projects are performed in conjunction with
selective demolition activities. By including both types of services
(abatement and selective demolition) in one contract, Envirotech is able to
better utilize resources, improve coordination, shorten project duration, and
reduce overall project cost to our clients.
