Lead Paint Abatement
Lead based paint (LBP) in commercial and industrial facilities has emerged
as a significant environmental concern. Recent studies reveal the hazards
of inhaling or ingesting lead dust generated from deteriorating lead based
paints causes elevated blood lead levels and eventual lead poisoning.
Envirotech has been awarded several large LBP removal projects, and lead
dust mitigation projects. Through successful completion of these contracts,
we gained valuable experience in many methods including the use of
abrasive and non-abrasive blasting, hydro blasting, power tools and
chemical cleaning. Our understanding of these various abatement
methods often allows us to offer cost-effective abatement to clients when
managing lead issues.
